  • Online therapy can be just as effective, if not more, than in-person sessions. It allows you to be in a comfortable, controlled environment without the need to drive anywhere.

I conduct online sessions through a secure, HIPAA-compliant platform to protect your privacy. You’ll receive a reminder and a secure link 24 hours before your session. Consent forms are signed electronically and stored safely. For your privacy, please ensure you're in a quiet, private space where you're unlikely to be interrupted.

  • Each individual therapy session typically lasts 50 minutes.

  • The timing of sessions depends on how you're doing and what you need to reach your goals. At first, we'll usually meet once a week. Once you're consistently applying new skills, we can switch to biweekly sessions.

  • IWhen talking to your insurance provider, you might want to ask these questions:

    • Does my coverage follow a calendar year (Jan-Dec) or a fiscal year (July-June)?

    • What is my individual out-of-network deductible, and has it been met?

    • Once my deductible is met, what is my reimbursement rate/percentage for out-of-network individual counseling?

    • Is there a limit on the number of sessions my plan covers each year?

    • Where should I send my "superbill" or medical receipt?

  • All major credit cards are accepted for payment at this time through my secure online portal. Payments are due at the beginning of each session unless otherwise negotiated.

  • I am committed to decrease barriers to access mental health services. I do reserve a limited amount of slots for clients who need a reduced fee. Please discuss this with me during our initial phone consultation to explore further options.

  • Using Headway as a third-party biller means they handle the insurance paperwork and claims for you. By partnering with Headway, I can offer access to more insurance plans like Aetna, Cigna, UnitedHealthcare, and others. Headway verifies insurance eligibility, submits claims, and manages payments on your behalf, so you can focus on your therapy while they take care of the billing.
